Trainees will participate in a discussion and overview of the IPC/WHMA-A-620. When there are revisions and/or amendments to this standard, trainees will discuss applicable changes. Students will be able to make correct "accept/reject" decisions for the appropriate class/classes of production, based on the acceptability requirements of the standard.

How the Recertification Program Works:
Candidates must pass open-book assessments. Successful candidates are awarded Certified IPC Specialist Certification valid for a further two years. Certified IPC Specialists may be recertified by two means:

1. IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified IPC Specialist Recertification course.
This consists of a review of the IPC/WHMA-A-620 material. Duration will depend on the modules selected below:

Challenge Test
Candidates are allowed to take a challenge test, which simply means taking the open book assessments without prior course instruction from the Certified IPC Trainer or Master IPC Trainer. Candidates who successfully achieve the required score from the assessments are deemed to be recertified.
